Maha Shivaratri

The Night Of Shiva

Saturday 7th February

Pomona Qld

Shivaratri Kirtan
| 6:00pm – 9.30pm |

Step into the sacred night of Maha Shivaratri, a night devoted to stillness, devotion, and the awakening of consciousness. This is a night where the divine energies of Shiva and Shakti merge, the silent witness and the life force coming into harmony, inviting transformation, release, and inner clarity.

Through kīrtan, mantra, and meditation, we open the heart, soften the mind, and enter a space where vibration and stillness rest together. Throughout the evening, we will honour the divine with Ganesha Deepa Pūjā – lighting lamps in devotion to Lord Ganesha to clear obstacles and guide the flow of the night, and Kali Pūjā – inviting release, transformation, and the awakening of courage and surrender.

As the night unfolds, sound and silence weave together, supporting a journey of inner stillness, devotion, and connection to the eternal presence within.

At the close of our gathering, we will offer the Rudra Abhishekam – , a sacred bathing of the Shiva Lingam with ghee, milk, honey, rose water, and rice, accompanied by mantra. This free participation puja allows all who feel called to immerse in the blessings of Shiva, integrating the energies of the evening and inviting purification, clarity, and devotion.

The evening will conclude with the sharing of prasāda, a simple offering symbolising divine care, gratitude, and nourishment, grounding the night’s blessings as we step into the stillness and grace of Shivaratri.

This gathering is held by Jess, Ribhu and Friends, with devotion, presence, and reverence, creating a sacred space for all who feel drawn to join.
